100 Word Challenge week 15

A Litter Different

"Pipe down Lynn, your just an organics bin." I steam.
"Don't  be rude, me and plastic are the only thing fantastic!" Lynn brags.
"Everyone knows your bitter, Litter." All the green bins yell at me.
None of them know it's not a cup of tea being me. I may not be a work of art and I might not be very smart. I wish they would give me a chance, they can take me to a dance. We don't need to be best friends, I just want to make amends. If only they forgave me for putting that banana in paper.

100 Word Challenge Week #14

Banana For Candy

"Ding dong!" I grab the candy box and go downstairs.
"Trick or treat!" A small little girl dressed up as a lady bug smiles. Grabbing the candy, I put my hand in the box and felt nothing but wrappers. All the candy was gone, someone had eaten it! Although I couldn't go and create an FBI investigation, the little girl was getting impatient.  Feeling bad I say,
" One second...I need another box." I sprint up the stairs to find any candy lying around. I couldn't find any candy... so I gave her a banana. The word got around that I gave a banana. Nobody came back.

100 WC week #7

Golden Sneakers

At last, the day I get to go to Manhattan to buy the fabulous pair of golden sneakers. I'd been saving for six weeks to reach a jaw dropping 500 dollars. As I pull up in front of the store, I could practically see myself tying up the bright green laces. The door opened and there it was, the last box of golden sneakers. I felt like they had been made just for me, as they were just my size. "Finally!" I thought, only a few feet away from the glorious sneakers. It was all going as planned until that man dropped his drink on my shoes.
